Dan Egan, author of “The Death and Life of the Great Lakes,” will be at Crossroads at Big Creek to discuss his new book, “The Devil’s Element: Phosphorus and a World Out of Balance,’’ as a special edition of the Fish Tales Lecture Series. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. The author will sign copies following the presentation.
Egan is a two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. He is currently a journalist-in-residence at the Center for Water Policy at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences.
