DCMGA & Wild Ones: Deadheading to Division with Mark Dwyer
January 23 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Join the Door County Master Gardeners and the Wild Ones – Door Peninsula chapter for an evening discussing gardening techniques designed to help get the most out of your garden.
We have a lot of expectations from our perennials (both native and non-native) in the landscape. We look for color, form, texture, fragrance, pollinator value, combination potential and so much more. However, with a bit more “focused intervention” as gardeners, we can maximize the appearance and contribution of perennials in the garden through tasks such as deadheading, cutting back, pinching, dividing and so much more. We’ll cover a wide range of techniques to consider with maximizing the appeal and impact of your perennials in the garden. We’ll also get our “color fix” by seeing some amazing plant material that won’t mind this additional attention!
This event will be hosted on Zoom. Live streaming will be available in person at the Collins Learning Center or by RSVPing below to receive the zoom link via email.
