DPAS Planetarium Show

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society (DPAS)  is hosting a planetarium show on Light in Space as a part of the Wisconsin Science Festival. The show ill take place at the Ray and Ruthie Stonecipher Astronomy Center, 2200 Utah Street, Sturgeon Bay, WI.


DPAS operates and maintains the Leif Everson Observatory. This is equipped with a PlaneWave Instruments 17 inch f/6.8 Corrected Dall-Kirkham Astrograph telescope on a state-of-the-art L-500 mount that provides exceptional optical and tracking performance for astrophotography, or research. DPAS also owns and operates a portable planetarium with a state-of-the-art computer projection system which is used on cloudy nights, daytime activities and for public outreach in local schools and libraries.
