Science Saturdays: Annual Rings

Immerse yourself in a weekly science topic with our naturalists. Get hands-on with experiments, activities, crafts and more with a different topic each week as we explore the “What? Where? When? Why? and How?” of the world around us.

Elementary students and their families will ring in the New Year (almost) by learning about annual rings found in trees and a surprising array of other living things.  Each student will go create a simple craft project to take home.

Science Saturdays is a free, family-friendly program geared toward elementary ages. Depending on the topic and the weather, this program may be outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
