Science Saturdays: Conversations about Cones

Immerse yourself in a weekly science topic with our naturalists. Get hands-on with experiments, activities, crafts and more with a different topic each week as we explore the “What? Where? When? Why? and How?” of the world around us.

Learners of all ages are fascinated by pinecones, so this week, the Saturday Science program will feature the cones of various evergreen species. Weather permitting, the group will collect cones outside.

Science Saturdays is a free, family-friendly program geared toward elementary ages. Depending on the topic and the weather, this program may be outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
