Science Saturdays: Hike to the Evergreen Forest

Immerse yourself in a weekly science topic with our naturalists. Get hands-on with experiments, activities, crafts and more with a different topic each week as we explore the “What? Where? When? Why? and How?” of the world around us.

Families are invited to venture into the conifer forests of Crossroads to learn about the adaptations that enable conifers survive winter weather. Indoor activities will be offered if the weather is harsh.

Science Saturdays is a free, family-friendly program geared toward elementary ages. Depending on the topic and the weather, this program may be outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
