SUMMARY:Junior Nature Club
DESCRIPTION:Junior Nature Club is a free monthly outdoor adventure designed for preschool-aged children and their families to discover\, explore\, and connect with the natural world. Through stories\, games\, hands-on activities\, and plenty of time to play and learn outdoors\, children and caregivers will build curiosity\, confidence\, social connections\, and a deeper appreciation for nature together. \n\nThis is a family program\, so parents or guardians are required to stay and participate throughout each session. Siblings and other family members are warmly welcome to join the fun. \nWe meet rain\, snow\, or shine\, so come dressed for outdoor exploration and the changing weather. If conditions are too severe for outdoor activities\, we’ll move indoors for nature-themed games\, crafts\, and learning experiences. \nSpace is limited so please register below.

SUMMARY:Fantastic Fungi: Movers & Shapers of Forest Ecosystems
DESCRIPTION:🍄 Ever wonder the role of Fungi our ecosystem? Find out from Glen Stanosz former Professor of Tree and Forest Health at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Fungi are often overlooked\, misunderstood\, and underappreciated. Yet these diverse and highly evolved organisms are critical to function of forest ecosystems. Their varied lifestyles are suited to roles as symbiotic mutualists\, nature’s recyclers\, or disease-causing tree pathogens. Fungi profoundly influence the initiation\, development\, composition\, stability\, and change of forests. \nThis indoor lecture-style program is open to all ages. \nLearn more about Glen Stanosz here. \nOpen to the public and free thanks to the generosity of donors like you!
