DESCRIPTION:Door County’s first trail run welcomes runners & walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2k\, 5k\, or 10k distance at Crossroads at Big Creek\, with chip-timing to allow for a staggered start by route. \nPacket pick-up is Tuesday\, June 17 – Thursday\, June 19 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday\, June 20 from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm at the Collins Learning Center. SUMMARY:Bird Survey @ Ida Bay
DESCRIPTION:Join Crossroads bioinventory efforts to document bird species at our Ida Bay Preserve as part of our restoration efforts. We will be performing three point counts throughout the summer following the Breeding Bird atlas protocols. Participants need to dress for the weather and have the merlin bird ID app downloaded on their phone. We will meet in the parking lot at 1195 Canal Rd\, then participants will be staged throughout the preserve recording birds they see visually and record birds they “hear” with their phone. \nClick here for more info or to sign up to help.
