SUMMARY:Tale: "The Birdwatchers"
DESCRIPTION:Join Door County Librarian Beth Lokken as she reads the weekly tale\, The Birdwatchers written by Simon James. \nJess and Grandad return in this delightful follow-up to the popular The Wild Woods. “When I go birdwatching\, things happen\,” Grandad says. Sometimes\, he says\, the birds draw him while he’s drawing them. Sometimes\, he says\, the birds help him find their names in his bird book. “Birds are amazing\,” says Grandad. But Jess isn’t sure. So one day she goes birdwatching with Grandad to see for herself! Simon James’ books often contain a message about respecting and caring for our natural world\, and this is no exception. \n\n🐦 Meet in front of the Collins Learning Center\n🐦 Drop in — no registration required\n🐦 Free and open to the public\n🐦 All ages welcome!\n\n\n🌞 SUMMER AT CROSSROADS\n \nTRAIL TALES: Take a self-guided hike starting at the west trailhead where the story unfolds along the trail. \nTINKERS: Stop by during open hours for ever-changing self-led hands on activities. \nTALES: Enjoy the weekly tale read aloud on Mondays at 2 PM. \nTALKS: A specialist brings each weekly theme to life at 2 PM on Thursdays. \nJOURNEYS WITH JOAN:Summer nature exploration continues Tuesdays at 1 PM with Naturalist Joan Wilkie. \nMore details.
