Pop-up Ida Bay Hike

A visit to the Crossroads Ida Bay Preserve is especially lovely when spring ephemerals are in bloom. This free hike will feature the cultural history–indigenous encampments,  possibly a French traders trail, a boarding house for the men who dug the ship canal, a popular resort, a truck farm, an orchard, and  currently, a remarkable piece of land undergoing restoration.  Hikers will take time smell, or at least appreciate, the flowers during the one and a half hour ramble through history. Meet at the Parking Lot,  1195 Canal Road in Sturgeon Bay.
